anti tnf medication Options

hi all i have recently started enberel and have had 2 injections to date. i noticed today that i have started to come out in a rash at the injection points,
i have read the side effects leaflet and this advises me to stop taking and seek medical advice but bieng sunday i am limited to any medical help??
has anyone else had this side effect and if so what happened next

Hi Ian,
I don't think you would need to do anything today (unless the symptoms get more severe of course) but it would certainly be worthwhile contacting your Rheumy nurse if you have one or your GP tomorrow and see what they think.
YES I'VE CHANGED, PAIN DOES THAT TO PEOPLE.

Hi Ian,

This injection site reaction is really common.

Please ring the nurse in the morning but in the meantime if the rash spreads elsewhere/ gets suddenly much worse you need to be seen more urgently.

In the meantime you might want to try an over the counter anti-histamine and apply an ice pack if its red, hot and itchy.

This wont necessarily mean the drug has to stop
